, designed to help families keep tabs on that most home account. SmartThings Cam is a smarter way to monitor a home with high-end surveillance features at an affordable price. Cam combines crisp, clear detail in Full HD, High Dynamic Range (HDR) wide-angle video with advanced object detection that intelligently detects motion at all times.
With SmartThings Cam, families can easily see the house from anywhere using the SmartThings app and receive notifications that intuitively distinguish people from moving pets or a passing car. Activity zones can be set to give more attention to a specific area, such as notifying parents of movement in a nursery or when an animal jumps on furniture when no one is home.
Although many indoor cameras are limited to a 130-degree view, the SmartThings Cam can see more of a home day or night using a 145-degree Full HD (1080p) wide-angle camera with night vision. SmartThings Cam's wider view also provides better image quality to see and capture more detail in video using HDR technology, and built-in two-way audio enables easy communication from a smartphone. .
