I purchased a Dell laptop on April 16, 2016. It never ran “lightning fast” as the show host claimed.
Finally, he died. I call Dell tech support and got a tech from Manila. After some time with a technician remotely trying to fix my computer, he asked me to take it to FedEx to return it. He set me up with a return shipping label but refused to provide a return box for my laptop.
It cost me about $25 to ship it. I took it to Geek Squad and they sent the computer back to me at the factory in Texas. Dell refused to let Geek Squad deal with the issue. After going to FedEx and returning my laptop, I picked it up from the factory.
Then the keyboard shut down. The technician in Manila took over my laptop remote and found that the keyboard had indeed malfunctioned. I requested a new replacement laptop. He refused.
He sent a replacement keyboard. I put it on my laptop. Then the whole laptop went black. I took it to Geek Squad and they found the computer to be "dead".
I called Dell tech support to request a replacement computer. They again refused. This time they sent a shipping label and a return box (which I didn't need this time). Back at the factory in Texas, then towards the end of December, I received a laptop return.

By then I had stopped using this computer as I had lost legal papers and many photos, as my computer was totally cleaned or replaced at the factory. About 2 weeks after receiving my laptop (January) I started using it again. The keyboard went dark again. I was totally disgusted and pissed off now.
The technician referred me to "company". I was told it would be there the following Monday. He only arrived on Wednesday. I received a phone call from "Corporate" on Tuesday asking if I had received the keyboard.
I was totally angry now with the whole ordeal. I told him that I didn't and that I thought the only fair solution to this fiasco was to replace that laptop because it was obviously a "lemon". and push it in her pussy", he became furious and told me he was closing my service request. I told him to do what he had to do. I haven't used my computer since .
I calculate that at a loss of $699. I called QVC customer service several times. The last lady I spoke to said she was typing a letter with my complaints to QVC head office. It's been well over a week and I haven't heard back.
I told him to charge my credit card with the easiest payments I had and I didn't buy anything else from QVC as I thought. they should have someone in customer service who advocates for customers with issues like mine. My Dell laptop stopped on me before I made my last payment. I've never had a computer on me before.
I'm not rich, so this was a pretty big loss for me, and not getting help from QVC totally flabbergasted me. I've bought hundreds of dollars from QVC over the years, but I guess I'm doing myself a favor now by keeping my cash in my purse.
