Sometimes a perfectly normal and working laptop keyboard can stop working. If this is what you are dealing with, below are the steps to fix laptop keyboard not working in Windows 10.

Since your laptop keyboard is not working, you can either use an external USB keyboard or

Once the external keyboard or on-screen keyboard is ready, you should be able to fix the problem using one of the following methods.

Turn off the computer, wait 60 seconds and
Restart
your device. You might be pleasantly surprised to see your laptop keyboard magically return to its normal working state.
2. Use keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard
in the left pane. In the right pane, disable the option
Filter Keys

After installing the updated driver, check if the keyboard works on your computer.
5. Reinstall the keyboard device
Another solution is to uninstall the keyboard device and allow Windows 10 to automatically reinstall the device on your laptop.
Open
Device Manager

Keyboards
enter > right click on your
keyboard

Uninstall device
.
Restart p>
your computer and Windows should automatically reinstall the correct driver on your computer.
