With the Dell Wireless Monitor, a Windows laptop, Android smartphone or tablet with Miracast function can display the screen image on the monitor through the Wi-Fi Direct interface. When you connect a laptop, smartphone, or tablet to a Dell Wireless Monitor, you can access and control the mouse and keyboard connected to the monitor.
You can wirelessly extend or mirror the Windows desktop to any of these displays, and connect to Android 5.0 over Wi-Fi and
Dualcast
(and above) tablets and smartphones.
Remark:
Note: Apple iPhone, iPad and Macbook are not supported. Sony smartphones are not supported as auxiliary devices for dual streaming.

Connecting to a Dell Wireless Monitor in Windows 7
Connecting to a Dell Wireless Monitor in Windows 7 requires the installation of the Dell Wireless Monitor Software. This application will help you to log in, log out and change the projection mode.
Confirm that the device meets the

Download and install the Dell Wireless Monitor software from the Dell Support website. Go to page

Open the Dell Wireless Monitor software. Then the app will automatically search for available devices.

Dual Screen Casting: Connect Windows and Android Device
Using the Dell Wireless Monitor's dual-screen streaming feature, you can connect to both a Windows laptop and an Android smartphone or tablet. Images from Windows laptops are displayed in full screen mode, and images from Android smartphones or tablets are displayed as an overlay (
PiP
- picture in picture).
Only one Windows device and one Android device can be connected to the Dell Wireless Monitor at the same time.
Remark:
The dual screen broadcast feature is only supported when the Dell Wireless Monitor software or application is installed on the computer and the Android device. Sony smartphones are not supported as auxiliary devices for dual streaming.
Make sure Dell Wireless Monitor software is installed on both devices.

Solving Common Problems

The laptop cannot connect to the monitor.
Try connecting to the monitor again. If subsequent attempts still fail, please proceed to the next step.
Restart the computer, then try to log in.
Remove "Wireless Monitor" from "Devices and Printers" under "Control Panel".
To change the "Band Selection" of the monitor, please try to use 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
Reset the monitor to factory default settings. Please refer to your monitor user manual.
Install the latest wireless network card driver on the laptop.
Only for Windows 7 personal computers:
Make sure the Android device is not connected to the monitor. First you need to connect to Windows 7 personal computer and then connect to Android device.
For manual pairing. In the Dell Wireless Monitor software, click "Where is my monitor?" to display the pairing code.
Remark:
The keyboard and mouse must be connected to the monitor to enter the pairing code.

During the first installation process, be sure to click on the laptop

Connect the laptop to the internet and confirm that it can be connected to the internet.
Connect the laptop to the Dell Wireless Monitor.

Why can't I connect to my Sony smartphone in dual-stream mode?
Sony smartphone is not supported as an auxiliary device in dual-streaming mode. Dell wireless monitors do not support High Definition Content Protection (HDCP), and Sony smartphones will always enable HDCP during screen casting.
However, Sony smartphones can be connected as a single device connection. To do this, disconnect the personal computer from the monitor, and then reconnect the Sony smartphone to the monitor.
