Troubleshooting and Common Problems
1. Presentation of coupling
Pairing a Bluetooth device is like The "secret handshake" between adapters is the same. Without this process, the device will not work properly, even though it may work properly, it will not work properly with the system.
The easiest way to remember which adapter requires which coupling is as follows:
The internal adapter (the mini-card on the laptop system) only needs to be paired inside the operating system.
The external adapter (USB converter, 13/19 in 1 media card reader) must be paired inside and outside the operating system.

2. Use the sync button to connect

Dell The Bluetooth keyboard and mouse must be paired outside of the operating system and then paired once the operating system has loaded. Instructions for connecting the keyboard and mouse outside of the operating system are listed below. This is available even if you have already connected a keyboard or mouse and they will no longer be paired.
Remark:
Note: If you're having trouble pairing your mouse or keyboard before Windows loads, try creating a password for your user account. This way, the operating system will not be loaded until the user enters the password. This will give you more time to pair your keyboard and mouse outside of the operating system.
Pair the Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse
1.
Insert the battery into the keyboard. The battery bay is located under the backlit keyboard. The keyboard requires two AA batteries.

Insert the battery into the mouse. The battery compartment is located under the mouse. The mouse requires two AA batteries.
3.
Use the power switch at the bottom of each device to turn on the keyboard and mouse.
4.
Press the connect button at the bottom of the keyboard. The Bluetooth LED on top of the keyboard starts flashing.
Remark:
Note: After turning on the system, there is almost no time to press the connect button at the bottom of the keyboard. Before turning on the system, make sure the keyboard is in discovery mode.

Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Press the connect button on the USB receiver. After connection, the Bluetooth LED on the keyboard stops flashing and lights up continuously for a short period, indicating that the connection between the keyboard and the computer has been established. The Bluetooth LED on the keyboard turns off, then stays off.
7.
Press the connect button at the bottom of the mouse. The Bluetooth LED on top of the mouse starts flashing.
8.
Press the connect button on the USB receiver. After connection, the Bluetooth light on the mouse stops blinking and lights continuously for a short period, indicating that the connection between the keyboard and the computer has been established. The Bluetooth light on the mouse will turn off, then it will stay off.
9.
The Dell Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse are now available. The keyboard and mouse will be automatically connected the next time the computer is restarted.
Remark:
Note: If the keyboard or mouse is not connected, press keys on the keyboard or move the mouse several times to re-establish the connection at the next boot time. If that doesn't work, follow the steps above to pair the keyboard and mouse outside of Windows.
Remark:
Note: Once the keyboard and mouse are paired outside of Windows, the keyboard and mouse must be paired again after Windows loads. Failure to pair the keyboard and mouse in Windows may cause it to hang and the keyboard and mouse may not work properly.

Perform general troubleshooting, such as checking the keyboard and mouse batteries. If possible, replace the battery with a new one.
Turn off the system and wait for a few seconds. Restart
Turn on the keyboard and mouse.
Pairing outside the operating system. Please refer to the section "

".
If the Bluetooth mouse is not available, connect the USB mouse to the system.

4. After restart, Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse are locked
After the system is restarted due to a Windows update or any other reason, the Bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse will no longer be paired after the operating system has loaded, and the keyboard and mouse may be locked or it won't work.
You can try the following troubleshooting steps to try to resolve your issue.

Other troubleshooting steps:
Check if the battery is new and correctly inserted, and if the mouse and keyboard are turned on
Remove and reinsert the receiver
If you still have connection problems, restart your computer.
Press and release the Bluetooth button on the mouse and receiver.

Press and release the Bluetooth button on the keyboard and receiver
Check if it is in the BIOS Enable Bluetooth (press the key when the Dell logo appears during boot).
