Blink cameras are excellent self-monitoring security cameras. But since Blink doesn't offer any professional monitoring, it's important to know all the ways you can view live feed and video from your Blink camera. You can access your camera feed through your TV.
You can only view a Blink camera's live feed on a Fire TV or Fire Stick; Blink Camera and Fire TV must be connected to Alexa. You can also view your camera feed or recorded video clips by casting them from the Blink app on your phone to a smart TV.
However, before you can view your Blink camera feed on your Fire TV, you need to link the camera and TV to your Alexa app. If you plan to cast your phone screen to your TV, you will need compatible devices such as an iPhone and Apple TV.
Compatibility with flashing camera and Smart TV
You can use Alexa voice commands to display the live feed from your Blink camera on a Fire TV or
fire stick
; it's the only way to directly view a Blink camera on a TV.
As Amazon manufactures Blink cameras, unfortunately they are not compatible with other smart TVs such as Google TVs and Apple TVs.
How to Use Fire TV to Display a Blink Camera
To view the live stream
of your Blink camera
on your Fire TV, you'll need to pair the camera and TV with your Alexa app if they're not already connected. (This

If you don't already have a Fire TV, you can purchase one.

Note: You cannot watch recorded video clips through your Fire TV. However, you can still view them on your TV using some roundabout methods. You can share the video clips from the Blink app or stream them from your phone. (More on this later.)
Alexa Commands
To view your Blink camera's live feed on your Fire TV, just say, "Alexa, show me my [camera name]."
You can also use the following voice commands to control your Blink camera through your Fire TV or other Alexa-enabled device:
"Alexa, ask Blink to disarm." (When you use this command, Alexa will ask you to provide your Blink PIN.)
"Alexa, ask Blink to get my status." (Alexa will list the statuses of all your connected Blink cameras.)
"Alexa, ask Blink when the last motion clip was."
"Alexa, ask Blink how many motion clips I have."
Other Ways to View Your Blink Camera on a TV
There are several less straightforward options for people who don't have a Fire TV or Fire Stick. Each method has different device requirements.
Mirroring your phone to an Apple TV
If you have an iPhone and a

. As long as you have compatible devices set up on the same Wi-Fi network, this is an easy way to view your Blink camera feed and video clips.

This method is not very convenient and does not allow you to view the live stream on TV. However, it has its advantages: you won't have to buy another smart TV or streaming device. And, it's great if you want family or neighbors to be able to watch the videos on their TVs too.
