I have owned the a6400 for 10 days now since the day it started shipping. I tested the AF, tracking, high ISO performance in low light of this camera. AF accuracy seems to be fantastic and very precise in non-tracking AF-C mode. If you manage to focus, the images show a 3D pop. In tracking mode, it's accurate but not very fast (you can still get a high keeper rate above 80%). I also own an A9 and native lenses as well as adapted lenses. I am comparing the two cameras and can honestly say the a6400 even though 1/4 the price of an A9 is 50% close to the performance of an A9. The 2 street shots (bus and car) allowed me to test the AF tracking and it looks pretty good for the first try in a few hours I received the camera without fiddling with the settings too much. The third is indoors with ISO 3200 and all came straight out of the camera intact. There is no IBIS in this camera but my lenses have OS or IS image stabilization and work great. There's an Auto ISO feature that takes 3 images in quick succession and combines them as an HDR image for you. I love this feature and it's great in low light without flash. Clear digital zoom is another feature that extends your lens reach to double and is sometimes handy if you want that shot but don't have the reach. eg. if you have a lens that can zoom up to 200mm, clear zoom will make it 400mm if you choose that option in the menu settings. The menu's learning curve can be a little overwhelming, but there are some great tutorials to help you out. Personally, I like Mark Galers' youtube channel. Just for information. The ability to customize the menu is great to your liking. The menu and controls are comparable and similar to those of an A9. The camera definitely grows on me and 10 days later I love the camera even more. I will push it to its limits this spring and see how it performs. I'm pretty sure I won't be disappointed. I come from Canon after being loyal to them for 15 years and still use Canon lenses. I think Sony at least offers better value for money in their camera lineup.Edit: Added extra image and battery life is also very good.
