My first order of the HX99 was bad. Volume/sound did not play, handle fell off. This was returned to the seller. The 2nd one I ordered on eBay. This camera is good/ok at a lot of things but not great at anything. I've owned/owned a bunch of Sony full frame, APS-C and Sony 1" cameras. gives you a ton of flexibility. it looks a lot like the full frame Sony 24-240 F3.5-6.3 lens that I thought I'd hate considering I own G Master lenses. Don't overlook the benefit of a pocket-sized, 24-720 zoom range, with a selfie screen.
