There could be several reasons if your Dell XPS won't turn on. If you are facing this issue then there can be some common issues that majority of people are facing such as -
power problem

I have found some common fixes which I hope if you do that your Dell XPS will turn on successfully. I'll tell you what to do if these steps don't work.

These steps may work for multiple devices and not just Dell XPS. In case you are facing the same with other models. Try these methods. Here they are.
Disconnect the

It may take some time but after that you will see the Dell logo on the screen.

What if it doesn't work?
If the above steps don't work for you, it's possible that the problem is power, battery or hardware issue, especially the motherboard.
It will be better to take the laptop to a nearby service center and they will fix it for you. Likewise, if the warranty period has not yet ended, good for you.
